Incomplete Poetries

There is something poetic about those unfulfilled dreams,
Something beautiful as it seems,

Untravelled places,
Unread books,
Unsaid words,
Unexpressed emotions,
Sleepless nights,
And in the mind goes on and on a series of endless fights,

Canvas left half painted,
Broken pieces of self which remain unmended,
Lump in the throat,
Tears welled up in the eyes,

Unachieved goals,
Unaccompanied journeys,
Unacceptable guilts,
Unrequited love,
Undesirable pains,

There is something poetic about those unfulfilled dreams,
Something beautiful as it seems,
About unsolved mysteries,
Unwritten stories,
And incomplete poetries....

TWISTS OF DESTINY

Too close to say goodbye,
Too far to be alongside,
Distances between us,
Still remains,

Too strong to break,
Too fragile to be inviolable,
Somehow this bond,
Still remains,

Too surreal to be real,
Too real to be delusive,
Unfulfilled dream,
Still remains,

Too intricate to discern,
Too simple to be perplexing,
Unsolved mystery,
Still remains.

Vibrant Autumn

I am falling in love autumn,
Golden and crimson leaves,
Bid adieu to the branches where they had clinged on,
With rustling sound,
They fall down,
Going with the flow of winds,
They traverse through the unknown paths,
Their careless whispers fill the air,
As if chattering and laughing,
As if dancing to the tunes of nature,
Heedless of the directions,
They trust the winds as their guide,

The trees left behind,
Would be bare for some time,
But they would heal and welcome the new,
With the passage of time,

It's the season of letting go,
Time to learn and grow,
Vibrant autumn!

FREE

When I left my body,
I knew I would drift away in the tunnel of light,
But I waited to have a look at my body,
And introspect about my days spent living with it,
I could see the wounds,
But felt no pain,
Though feeling light,
It was heavy that all my efforts had gone vain,

Pleasing others,
Seeking their approval,
I lived each day as per their wishes,
I had killed my own desires,
I had no dreams left,

Now I was free,
Enlightened by the wisdom,
Wordly pleasures are superficial!

IT'S HER WORLD

She is not searching for a support to cling on to,
She is all by herself on the adventure called life,
She can choose if she wants to be with someone,
It is a choice and not need,
She is stronger than what you think,
Not many can decipher her emotions,
Not many can feel the way she does,
She has set a strong foundation for herself,
Based on her own convictions,

Keep away if her independence scares you,
Keep away if her goals intimidate you,

She will choose only the one
... who can keep up with her passion,
... who can appreciate her intelligence,
... who can dare not to invade her personal space,

Don't play with the flame if you are afraid of fire,
If she falls for you, she will light up your life,
If you mess with her, be ready to burn .

Wisdom for Life

On the mystique journey of life,
Travelling the paths strangled with strangers,
Packed with
...surprises as surreal as a dreams coming true,
...shocks that leave one baffled,
...lessons too difficult to decipher,
...challenges seeming too difficult to confront,
...encounters too deluded to be good or bad,

In a world perceived as hostile and friendly simultaneously,
Leave a legacy behind,

Be a prodigy,
Of prudence, kindness and valour.

Not Again . . .

No.. Don't come back,
I have moved on...
And don't wanna get robbed of peace of mind again,

I had become vulnerable by revealing all of my deepest emotions,
And it took time to pull myself up,
To become strong once again,

I remember how restless I used to be,
When petty issues turned to big fights,
When I tried to explain and my word went unheeded,
And I used to weep alone again and again,

I had shut the door on your face,
The expanse of my world cannot get limited to only one feeling,
I shattered my own dreams,
Which I would never live again,

No, don't knock the door,
I know it's a new face,
Carrying the same feeling of love which I don't wanna dive into again ...
