An Intoxicating Place!

How intoxicating it is!
to step into a place,
and be greeted by cold breeze blowing,
the place underneath the open sky,
with dim lightings & candles glowing,

The twinkling stars & glimpses of moon through parting clouds,
A view picturesque. .
The city lights seemed distant,
music that filled the air
was perfect to get imbued into. .

Wish the time would stop passing at such place,
Wish one could remain immersed forever in those moments' Embrace,

The juncture of time there becomes one of life's cherished story,
and takes the rank of an eternal memory!

An oasis in the desert,
A lotus in a muddy pond,


A surge of countless emotions rises in my heart
As I think of you..

If the shadow of yours that haunts me is so enchanting,
I  wonder what real you would be like.......

The Gulmohar Speaks

The Gulmohar Speaks:

I stand here by the side of this road,
remembering my olden days,
That was the time when people appreciated my beauty,
When I used to listen to the laughter of the kids playing  around,
When dusk was a time to relax with loved ones,
And dawn was greeted with smiles,
And when I used to blossom,
I could hear the delightful words "Wow! The Flame of Forest is blooming with flowers bright!"
And that brought me immense joy and pride,

The years passed,
And I saw all people rushing somewhere always in hurry,
The open surface in front of me was covered with tar,
And turned into a road,
For years I withstood powerful winds and storms.
But those blow of axes cut branches,
My neighbours who stood with me in sun and showers, disappeared,
And new lifeless towers replaced them,

What has happened to this world!
With no one to talk to me,
I feel so lonely,
I stand here aloof,watching the vehicles passing by,
And spend my nights immersed into the memories of my golden days. .

My First Post!

So after pondering so much, taking a real big time to think, numerous excuses, finally I created my blog!

And this is my first post. Dedicated to all my loved ones and well wishers!
