A Dog's Life

Though my life was too short,
I remained loyal to my master,
His wife fed me stomach full,
Once I protected his daughter from snake,
I guarded his home day and night,
Felt lonely when they went out,
Would wait eagerly for them to return,
I greeted them by wagging my tail,
I could not express my happiness,
When a new baby joined our family,
I used to play with him too,
Years passed and I noticed something,
I would get exhausted very soon,
They took me to the doctor,
And looked after me like a kid,
God told me that it was the time to leave,
And be born anew at a new place,
Where I was required to bring smiles,
I left my body and then I saw,
That I was still living in the stories they read!

Under the Crimson skies!

Under the Crimson skies, with you,
I shared my feelings and fears,
Scared I was to go away,

Evening breeze whispered in my ears,
That it was the time to leave,
You kissed on my forehead,
Not to say goodbye till we meet again.

When you fly away,
I miss you more and more,
The moments spent together,
Remain with me,
Memories become my breath,

With every passing day,
Love increases,
And gets stronger,
Like an old wine.

I dream of you with open eyes,
And count on the moments to see you again.

Moonlit Night

It's a moonlit night, we're together, 
Dancing to music of your love, 
What I feel is sheer bliss, 

These moments will definitely slip by, 
And when the dawn will appear, 
You will leave, 
The memories of this night will remain in my poetry.

A PRAYER FOR TRANQUILITY

When an animal attacks a human being,
We call it wild, ferocious or man eater,
What do we call a human being who attacks another human?

Mothers are tensed when their children leave homes,
Fathers wait for their fairies to return,
Wives gaze out of the window waiting for their husbands,
Why do we feel so insecure?

Violence prevails in the world,
Trust is lost, hatred grows,
Is this what we want?
Or do we want to play safely when it snows?

Why that mother lost her son?
Why that lady's husband died?
Why there is bloodshed?
Why do humans need to hide?

Let's pray that the land where we reside,
Remains safe and tranquil,
Let's cherish each single individual,
Let's spread peace and harmony,
Let's make happiness the way of life!

Rainy Evening

I waited for you to return,
My fingers were crossed,
Thinking you might not recognize me,

My heart skipped a beat as you smiled at me,

LOVE

Love is when someone looses himself into you,
When someone steals the secrets
You'd kept for years with you,

Love is when someone breaks your
Safe shell and enters you,
When someone sets you free from the walls you'd built around you,

Love is when someone sheds the light on you,
And awaken you to your inner beauty,
When someone embraces you just for being you,

Love is when someone undresses your conscience,
When someone makes loves to your thoughts and deeds,

Love is when someone kisses not just your lips, but your soul,
When someone becomes the reason for your glorious transformation!
