And shared our emotions,
Then why are we separated today,
By the walls of silence,
And the walls of darkness,
When we know it's difficult to stay apart,
Why do these walls exist,

It takes a lot to smile,
When the emotional turmoil refuses to settle down,
Soul gets tired,
And heart feels broken,

Shadows hide the light of love,
But every dark night has a shining dawn,
