Life of Simple Pleasures

Hey! I am not looking for gems or jewels,
Rather I want a life where a bunch of small pleasures dwells,

Be it winter,
And I wrap myself in blanket,
And I fall asleep reading the book with stories full of enchantment,

Be it spring,
And i watch the flowers bloom,
I take a walk in a garden,
And forget the winter's gloom,

Be it summer,
And I rush back to my shelter escaping the heat,
I quench my thirst with water cold and sweet,

Be it rain,
And yes it the first rain of the season,
I enjoy the petrichor,
And witnesses the earth pacifying and changing its color,

And i walk on the lonely road celebrating autumn,
And listen to the crackling sound of leaves,
As I take each step on the trail golden,

Be it cuddling those puppies I see on the road,
Or revisiting the places where mountains echoed,

Be it feeling the waves from vast ocean touch my feet,
And I bid them farewell as blue waters they again meet,

Be it watching the sun setting down the horizon,
And I peacefully close my eyes as sky turns twinkling black from crimson!!!
